Mr. Dowd Spotlight

We talked to teachers who use to attend MHS to find out how much prom has changed. We found out that there use to be a prom king and queen and it was held in thec cafeteria. 

        In this story my group talked about Mr. Dowd, a MHS science teacher who likes to bring enjoyment to the class by using many interesting real world examples. I captured B-roll and helped write the script.

Athletic Leadership Council

      In this story I worked with Tatianna Rosa to shine light on a very important club to Manchester Athletics. The Athletic leadership council meets one a week to discuss how to make experiences of student athletes better.

Sexual Harassment 

     This story is a little different than the others. 

     This story is a little different than the others. Liv McHugh and I created this short film in order to spread awareness about sexual harassment. 

Prom- Then Vs. Now

Earth Day

On this story Lauren Packer and I took a look at an event in Manchester that gives away free trees in order to plant them. This event went hand in hand with our earth day story. We tried to get scenic b-roll for this story and ended up filming a time lapse of the sunset on case mountain.

The Tribe

With the success of the boys basketball team on the rise, a new group of students were rising. The student fan section, better know as The Tribe, help bring the basketball team to the state tournament.

Vendor Fair

The vendor fair held at MHS is a great place for vendors to sell their product to a wide range of customers. We went to the vendor fair to see why local sellers think the fair is benficial.

Toys R Us

WIth the local Toys R Us closing in Manchester we wanted to see how it was going to affect the community. We talked to a family owned toy store to see what they thought this closing would mean.
